Advanced Level 3 Personal Training
TRX certified
ViPR certified
Kettlebell certified
Group class certified
Sean keeps up to date with the industry through online courses and workshops, and plays tennis and football in his own time — training is the job and the hobby.
Three LivingFit studios, plus gym, home and outdoor sessions.
Fitness studio
A private fitness studio with the full kit — barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX, ViPR and balls. LivingFit studios are in Naxxar, Swieqi and Sliema. No membership needed, no queueing for a rack.
At a gym
Sean coaches you at the gym he works from, or one you already belong to. You'll need your own membership there, and the rate is lower to match.
Home visits
Sean brings what the session needs to your place. Ideal if you're short on time, training with a partner, or would rather not walk into a gym yet.
Outdoor classes
Weather permitting, group classes run outdoors around the harbour towns — bodyweight and portable kit, scaled so every level gets a real session.
Prefer to train from another country or while travelling? Online coaching runs on dumbbells, kettlebells and bodyweight.
Ways to train with Sean.
Personal training
Full attention on your goal, your form and your history. Cheaper per session in blocks of ten.
Small group PT
Train with a partner or a group of up to four. Same planning, lower rate each, everyone still gets coached.
Group classes
Weather-permitting outdoor classes for people who want the energy of a group without a gym.
Online training
Programmes built around a few dumbbells, kettlebells and bodyweight, delivered through the free app.
What happens in the free consultation.
- Step 01
Your goals
Sean asks what you're training for, what's worked before, and what hasn't. This shapes the direction of the programme.
- Step 02
Your requirements
Injuries, pain, schedule, equipment access, and anything that affects how you can train. Nothing gets ignored.
- Step 03
How Sean works
He talks you through his methods, the app, and what the first few sessions look like. You leave with a clear next step.
Real kit, used properly.
Sean is TRX, ViPR and kettlebell certified, so the tools get used with technique behind them rather than as novelty.
How you'll know it's working.
Body composition, if toning is the goal
A body fat test shows lean mass going up and fat going down — clearer than the number on a bathroom scale.
Progressive overload, if strength is the goal
The weight goes up gradually over time and it's written down, so progress isn't a matter of opinion.
Strength, rest and progress work together
Sean's view: you don't build strength without recovery. Sessions are hard, but structured around what your body can absorb.
Tracked in the free app
Sessions, measurements and history live in one place, so you and Sean are looking at the same picture.
Common questions about personal training in Malta.
How much does a personal trainer cost in Malta?
It depends on where you train — studio, gym, your home or an outdoor class — and whether you buy single sessions or a block of ten. Sean shares the full rate card when you get in touch, and the initial consultation is free.
Do I need a gym membership?
Only if you want the gym rate — that option assumes you hold the membership yourself. Studio sessions, home visits and outdoor classes need no membership at all.
Which areas do you cover?
Studio locations are in Naxxar, Swieqi, Sliema. Home visits and outdoor classes cover Naxxar, Swieqi, Sliema and the surrounding towns. Online coaching covers the rest of the island.
Can you train me if I've never exercised?
Yes. Sean coaches clients from complete beginners upwards, and the free consultation is a conversation about your goals, requirements and how he works — no workout, no pressure.
Is there an age limit?
Sean trains clients between 16 and 75. Coaching style adapts with age — more patience and closer attention to form where it matters.
Can I train with a friend?
Yes. Two-to-one and small group sessions of up to four people run at a lower rate each, and the session is planned so everyone gets a proper workout.
